The Wakhinane Nimzat police station placed in custody, this Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Mr. Dramé, a marketing agent at Techno Mobile Senegal, aged 35, for forgery and use of forged public and authentic documents.

It all started on November 11, 2025, when a letter of complaint was filed by K. Athie, head of the Administrative and Financial Division (DAF) of the municipality of Wakhinane Nimzat, at the police station against the accused.

During her hearing, the complainant explained that on November 10, 2025, Mr. Dramé went to the town hall with a revenue order purportedly issued by the municipal services, as part of an audit requested by the Guédiawaye Treasury. Upon examination, she discovered that the document was falsified: scanned, backdated, and bearing a number already assigned to the Bank of Africa (BOA). According to her, this revenue order had never been issued or validated by the town hall.

When questioned, Mr. Dramé admitted to retrieving an old sales order from Techno Mobile Senegal's archives and altering the date using graphic design software on his computer. He explained that the falsification stemmed from the loss of the original order, while denying any complicity.

However, when questioned by investigators, he admitted that, as a marketing agent, he had received 280,000 CFA francs from his employer intended for the payment of advertising taxes. After using this sum for other purposes, he falsified the original revenue order to present to the Treasury and justify the supposed payment of the funds.

The public prosecutor's office has been informed and an investigation is underway to determine the responsibilities and exact circumstances of this case.
