Wakhinane Nimzatt : Un voleur de moto tabassé par la foule avant d'être remis à la police
A 24-year-old man was lynched by an angry mob on Thursday, November 27, in Wakhinane Nimzatt. He had just stolen a motorcycle at the local roundabout.
A motorcycle theft gone wrong! The incident occurred this Thursday morning around 9 a.m. at the Wakhinane Nimzatt roundabout. A. Gaye, 24 years old and from Yeumbeul, attempted to steal a motorcycle. He was caught in the act by witnesses.
News of the theft spread like wildfire through the neighborhood. A crowd immediately gathered around the suspected thief, who didn't have time to escape. The enraged residents lynched him.
Beaten and injured in the face, A. Gaye was taken to the Wakhinane Nimzatt police station. Given the suspect's condition, the police requested a medical examination. Due to the severity of his injuries, A. Gaye was then transferred to King Baudouin Hospital for treatment.
The public prosecutor has been informed of this case. An investigation has been opened to shed light on the exact circumstances of the theft.
