Officers from the Special Urban Security Brigade (SU) of the Dakar Central Police Station arrested a suspected drug trafficker in Yoff during the night of Saturday, May 2nd to Sunday, May 3rd, around 1:00 AM. The suspect, identified as Mr. Top, 27 years old, a street vendor residing in Ouest-Foire, was found in possession of a bag containing 38 crack cocaine rocks, according to Seneweb sources.

Taken to the police station where he was questioned, he admitted to owning the drugs, but maintained that they were for his personal use.

Mr. Top was taken into custody for possession and trafficking of cocaine.
