Ziguinchor : quatre individus arrêtés pour vol et recel de chèvres
The Niaguis gendarmerie brigade has dismantled a network of cattle thieves. The operation began last Saturday, when the gendarmes spotted two suspicious individuals riding a motorcycle. After a short chase, AA Massaly and PF Sow were arrested with three goat carcasses in a bag, L'Observateur reported this Friday, September 19.
Identified as former prisoners specializing in cattle theft, the two men admitted the facts and denounced their accomplices: two butchers from Ziguinchor who ran dibiteries.
The quartet was brought before the Ziguinchor Prison on Wednesday for criminal conspiracy, night-time theft and receiving stolen goods, the same source reported.
