ZONES AURIFÈRES DE SARAYA : 16 dragues illégales détruites sur le fleuve Falémé, deux personnes interpellées

Colonel Simon Sarr's men, commander of Military Zone Number 4 in the administrative regions of Tambacounda and Kédougou, initiated and conducted a large-scale operation against illegal gold mining along the Falémé River last Wednesday. In Lingokhoto, in the commune of Missirah Sirimana, Saraya department (Kédougou), they seized 16 dredges in operation, which they destroyed. Two Malian nationals were arrested and handed over to the national gendarmerie.

This intervention aims to protect natural resources and the environment, which are severely threatened by illegal mining. This action has been highly welcomed by the local population, who are encouraged to cooperate with the security forces to put an end to the criminal activities of these malicious individuals.

Oui tu as raison. Mais félicitons quand même nos soldats. Les Maliens et Chinois se moquent de nous en pillant nos ressources. Il faut être beaucoup plus stricts avec eux.
