Qualifications Coupe du monde 2026 – Zone Europe : l’Italie surclasse Israël et se rassure
With their backs against the wall before facing Israel this Tuesday evening in Udine, Italy got back into the race to qualify for the 2026 World Cup. The Squadra Azzurra soundly beat Israel (3-0). Mateo Retegui, author of a brace (45+1 and 74), and Mancini (90+3) were the Italian scorers.
Thanks to this success, the Italians, absent from the last two editions of the World Cup, are now assured, at the very least, of participating in the play-offs for the 2026 World Cup.
