Mondial 2026 : l’Afrique du Sud dévoile sa liste avec Ronwen Williams et Teboho Mokoena
South Africa's coach, Hugo Broos, has announced his squad for the 2026 World Cup. Bafana Bafana will rely on several experienced players as they aim for a successful run in this global competition.
Among the players called up are goalkeeper and captain Ronwen Williams, midfielder Teboho Mokoena, both from Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns, and Burnley striker Lyle Foster, who played for AS Monaco during the 2019-2020 season. Wingers Oswin Appollis and Evidence Makgopa will also be key players to watch in the South African squad.
Drawn in Group A, South Africa will begin their tournament against Mexico in the opening match. Hugo Broos' men will then face South Korea and the Czech Republic in the group stage.
