CAN 2025 : Aubameyang forfait contre le Cameroun
The Gabonese Football Federation announced on Monday that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will miss the Panthers' first match at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled for December 24 at 9 p.m. against Cameroon.
The OM striker, captain and emblematic figure of the Gabonese national team (84 caps, 39 goals), will therefore miss his team's entry into the competition, which will take place from December 21 to January 18.
Gabon hopes to be able to count on Aubameyang for the second match against Mozambique, scheduled four days later, subject to the evolution of his physical condition.
