Afrobasket masculin : Jean-Jacques Boissy, Makhtar Gueye et Gora Camara brillent d'entrée
Senegal got off to a great start in the 31st edition of the men's Afrobasket, held in Angola. The Lions comfortably dominated Uganda (88-53).
Even though national coach Ngagne Desagana Diop rotated his squad, giving playing time to all his players except Ibou Badji, three Lions particularly stood out.
Jean-Jacques Boissy was the most successful player, scoring 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in 22 minutes. Makhtar Gueye, who played 18 minutes, also shone with 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists.
As for Gora Camara (2.14 m), he reigned in the air with 13 rebounds, 14 points and 2 assists in just 21 minutes.
However, despite these fine individual and collective performances, the Lions will have to raise their game against opponents of a completely different caliber, such as Mali and Egypt, whom they are due to face in the next matches.

C'est bien mais rester concentrer. Le plus dur reste à venir
