AS Pikine-Guédiawaye FC : le derby de la banlieue a rapporté plus 20 millions F CFA de recettes
AS Pikine thrashed Guédiawaye Football Club (GFC) 3-0 this Sunday at the Léopold-Senghor stadium in a match counting towards the 6th day of Ligue 1. There was good play, goals, atmosphere in the stands and a nice financial benefit for the Pro League.
"We congratulate Pikine for the organization and the public for their mobilization. The stadium was full, there were more than 20 million [CFA francs] in revenue," confirmed the president of the FSF body, Babacar Ndiaye, in remarks reported by Record.
With this victory, AS Pikine climbs the standings, moving from 9th to 5th place. GFC, on the other hand, remains stuck at the bottom of the table (16th).
