Ballon d’Or africain 2025 : Lookman, Mamoush et Mbeumo, les grands absents
The list of ten players nominated for the 2025 African Ballon d'Or is now known. Among the favorites are Achraf Hakimi, Sehrou Guirassy, Mohamed Salah, and Victor Osimhen. However, last year's winner, Ademola Lookman, is conspicuous by his absence. The Nigerian striker is paying the price for a poor start to the season, marked by a dispute with his club after a failed transfer.
Other notable absentees include Cameroonian Bryan Mbeumo (Manchester United) and Egyptian Omar Mamoush (Manchester City), despite their strong performances this season.
It should also be noted that, despite their brilliant qualifications for the World Cup, Algeria, Ivory Coast, Cape Verde and Tunisia do not have any players among the nominees.

Dembéle ballon d'or africain ce trophée n'a aucun sens quand tu vois que les meilleurs joueurs du monde sont africains et jouent pour des blancs
Oui mais puisque les opportunités leur sont ouvertes qu'ils s'imposent dans leur club d'abord. Ils ne sont même dans les tops 10 leur club. D'ailleurs je préfère fiston Mayélé qu'eux.

Le ballon d'or est pour Hakimi. Le Maroc est demi finaliste de la coupe du monde, Hakimi a tout raflé avec le PSG.
