Basket-Ball Africa League : Al Ahly Benghazi termine à la 3e place
Al Ahly Benghazi (Libya) secured third place in the Basketball Africa League by defeating Al Ahly of Egypt with a score of 106 to 98.
In this duel between the two Al Ahly teams, the Libyans got off to a better start, winning the first quarter 25-23. In the second quarter, Al Ahly Benghazi extended their lead thanks to a 24-point performance from Charles Edward Moore. At halftime, the Libyans led 52-38.
In the third quarter, Al Ahly Benghazi maintained their momentum, thanks in particular to the accuracy of Mohamed Bashir Sadi, who scored 19 points. The Libyans held onto their lead at the end of the quarter (77-73).
In the final quarter, despite a spirited comeback from the Egyptians led by Ibrahim Alaaedin Zahran (23 points), the Al Ahly Benghazi players finished the game strongly to win 106 to 98.
Thanks to this great victory, Al Ahly Benghazi finishes the 6th edition of the Basketball Africa League on the podium, securing third place.
