Bayern Munich : Vincent Kompany analyse la première titularisation de Bara Sapoko Ndiaye
The young Senegalese midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye has taken another step forward in his development with Bayern Munich. After a promising appearance off the bench the previous week, he made his first start under Vincent Kompany.
Deployed in midfield alongside Aleksandar Pavlovic and Leon Goretzka, the young player delivered a solid performance in a particularly physically demanding match. A performance that did not go unnoticed by his coach.
In a press conference, Vincent Kompany praised his player's attitude and commitment:
"A match this physical is the toughest test a young player can face. It really wasn't a match for youngsters, but he needs it to learn."
The Belgian coach also highlighted the Senegalese player's adaptability, particularly in ball handling and respecting the pace of the match.
"I thought he handled the ball quite well and kept up with the pace. In my opinion, he has no responsibility on his shoulders. It's up to the experienced players to raise the level."
Despite the difficulty of the match, Bara Sapoko Ndiaye showed character, particularly in the second half, which increased his coach's satisfaction.
"He also showed a reaction in the second half. It was a good performance in such a difficult match for a young player. He can be proud," concluded Vincent Kompany.
An encouraging first for the young Senegalese player (19 years old), who is gradually confirming his potential within the Bavarian giant.
