Bénin-Sénégal: Pape Thiaw donne les nouvelles Lamine Camara sorti sur blessure

Senegal's 3-0 victory over Benin in the third round of Group D at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations was slightly marred by Lamine Camara's injury. The midfielder, who was injured during the match, had to be substituted at halftime.

In the post-match press conference, coach Pape Thiaw gave an update on his player. "Lamine Camara twisted his ankle. We didn't want to take any risks, so we took him off," explained the Senegalese coach.

For now, the severity of the injury remains to be determined. "He will undergo tests afterwards and we will see the exact nature of this injury," added Pape Thiaw.

Lamine Camara perd trop de ballon qui sont souvent fatale, il doit faire des efforts sur lui-meme et avoir de la rigueure. A ce stade, il n'a pas sa place dans la selection.
