Sanctions de la CAF : Les Marocains en colère, les Sénégalais en mode "roubé", les réactions sur les réseaux sociaux (photos)
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has imposed sanctions on Senegal and Morocco following the incidents that occurred during the Africa Cup of Nations final. Morocco was fined 189 million CFA francs, and Ismail Saibari and Achraf Hakimi each received a one-match suspension (along with a 55 million CFA franc fine). For Senegal, Pape Thiaw received a five-match suspension, while Iliman Ndiaye and Ismaila Sarr each received a two-match suspension. The Senegalese Football Federation will have to pay approximately 370 million CFA francs.
In Morocco, there is outrage following the announcement of disciplinary sanctions imposed by CAF. It should be noted that several Moroccans had launched a campaign, using fake news, claiming that Thiaw would face sanctions of up to five years and a fine exceeding 20 million dirhams. "Grotesque," or "Let's boycott CAF," the Atlas Lions' supporters made no secret of their anger.
In Senegal, reactions to the sanctions have been mixed. Some have deemed them excessive, even calling for an appeal to challenge these measures in other jurisdictions. Others, however, breathed a sigh of relief. Meanwhile, on social media, the atmosphere is lighthearted, filled with jokes and playful banter.
