Cameroun : Marc Brys limogé de son poste de sélectionneur des Lions Indomptables
Marc Brys is no longer the coach of Cameroon's Indomitable Lions. The Belgian coach was dismissed on Monday, December 1, 2025, during an emergency session of the Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) committee, the day after Samuel Eto'o Fils was re-elected as Fecafoot president.
The dismissal comes just days before the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The Cameroonian Football Federation (Fecafoot) cited several reasons, including Cameroon's failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, to justify the Belgian coach's dismissal. Appointed by the Ministry of Sports in April 2024, Marc Brys never recognized Samuel Eto'o as his superior, creating persistent tension between the two.
To take over, Samuel Eto'o Fils has chosen David Pagou, a Cameroonian coach renowned for his expertise in the local league. He was part of the staff led by Marc Brys.
