CAN-2025: la CAF "condamne" les incidents lors de la finale
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Monday condemned "the unacceptable behavior of some players and officials" during the AFCON final between Morocco and Senegal on Sunday in Rabat, during which Senegalese players left the field after a penalty was awarded to the host country.
Senegal won the Africa Cup of Nations final against Morocco 1-0 after extra time, in a match that descended into complete chaos in Rabat. A penalty awarded to the host nation at the end of regulation time, just after a goal was disallowed for Senegal, led to a mass exodus of the Senegalese team from the pitch.
Tensions spread to the stands where supporters of the Lions of Teranga tried to invade the pitch for nearly 15 minutes, even when Brahim Diaz was about to take his penalty, which he ultimately missed, and were barely contained by stewards, assisted by law enforcement.
"The Confederation of African Football condemns the unacceptable behavior of certain players and officials during the Africa Cup of Nations final between Morocco and Senegal. CAF strongly condemns any inappropriate behavior during matches, particularly that directed at the refereeing team or the match organizers," the body said in a statement.
CAF added that it "is examining all the images and will submit the matter to the competent authorities so that appropriate measures can be taken against those found guilty."
Earlier, FIFA President Gianni Infantino had also condemned the "unacceptable scenes" during the Africa Cup of Nations final, implicating some Senegalese players and staff. He also called on "the competent disciplinary bodies of CAF" to take "appropriate measures."

Les des étaient pipés d’avance,ce qui s’est passé montre que Dieu est au contrôle de tout.
L’arbitrage a été le problème de cette CAN.
Ne pas en parler et vouloir mettre l’échec de votre plan sur le dos du Sénégal est inacceptable !
