CAN 2025 : le président de la Fédé, Abdoulaye Fall, rappelle l’objectif fixé à Pape Thiaw dans son contrat
Without seeming to, the new president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), Abdoulaye Fall, has put a little pressure on the national team coach ahead of Morocco 2025, which opens next Sunday. "As I always say, we shouldn't put too much pressure on them; a competition has its own realities," the successor to Augustin Senghor stated from the outset in an interview published this Monday in "Le Soleil des Sports," the public group's weekly sports newspaper, regarding the expected results from the head of the national team.
However, Abdoulaye Fall was quick to point out that, "according to the terms of the contract, Pape Thiaw must win the AFCON", indicating that the Lions have "the means, the ambitions and everything necessary to aim very high during this AFCON".
Furthermore, the FSF declared that Senegal will "fully embrace" its status as favorite in the competition. "We were the top-ranked African nation in the FIFA rankings for four years and we are currently second. Senegal has put in a tremendous amount of work to reach this level. We will therefore embrace this status as favorite in Morocco and do everything to consolidate it."

Ce n'est pas sérieux!!
On ambitionne de remporter la coupe, mais un objectif réaliste est une demie finale.
On commence à regretter Senghor..
On frise l'amareurisme!!
