CAN 2025, Stade Demba Diop, Fan ID… : la FSF adopte dix décisions pour ...

Meeting for the first time under the new leadership team, the Emergency Committee of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) adopted ten resolutions aimed at strengthening the governance, infrastructure and organization of national football, particularly in preparation for the next Africa Cup of Nations (Morocco, from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026).

Among the key measures, L'Observateur highlights the renewal of members of the judicial bodies and the launch of the second phase of the Demba Diop stadium's rehabilitation. Discussions will notably focus on revising the financing model to revive a project that has stalled.

Preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco were at the heart of discussions: immediate measures are being taken to ensure accommodation and optimal support for the FSF's official guests. A facilitation office will also be set up at the headquarters of the Senegalese Professional Football League (LSFP) to help supporters obtain the mandatory Fan ID.

The Committee also lifted the ban on using the Jolof Olympique Club's pitch and mandated the Accreditation Commission to examine similar requests from the Diambars and Génération Foot academies.

Finally, the process of setting up the Board of Directors and the office of the Amateur League has been validated, and the transport reimbursement scale for National 1, National 2 and Regional clubs will be reviewed.
