CAN Maroc-2025 : Luca Zidane, la bonne étoile des Fennecs d’Algérie

Like his father, Lucas Zidane may be blessed with good fortune. The young Algerian goalkeeper has yet to concede a goal since the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. He has recorded three clean sheets in total: two in the group stage against Sudan and Burkina Faso, and another in the round of 16 against Théo Bongonda's Democratic Republic of Congo. He did not start in Algeria's 3-1 victory against Equatorial Guinea. His counterpart, Anthony Mandrea, was in goal for the Fennecs.

The big test against Nigeria

We'll have to wait and see if Luca keeps a clean sheet in the quarter-final clash against Nigeria.

Nevertheless, for the moment, the Granada CF goalkeeper in Liga 2 is performing well in this 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The young man appears to be Algeria's lucky star.

et le rejeton joueur algérien.......il devait jouer au Real Madrid, plus près de la villa luxueuse de son paternel....l'argent n'a pas d'odeur encore moins de moralité.
