CAN U17 : l’Angola tient tête au Mali
Mali, the overwhelming favorites for the U17 AFCON, made their entry into the competition on Thursday in Group C. The Eagles, two-time winners of the competition (2015 and 2017), were held to a draw by Angola (0-0).
Despite dominating possession, Mali were never able to break down the Angolan defense. The match ended in a goalless draw (0-0).
This result is inevitably a poor performance for Mali, who were among the tournament's top favorites.
