CAN U17 : Les Lionceaux champions d’Afrique attendus à Dakar cette nuit
In a press release published on Tuesday, June 2, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) announced the return to Senegal of the U17 national team, crowned African champions after their victory in the final against Tanzania yesterday in Rabat.
Having enjoyed an exceptional run throughout the competition, the Young Lions will land at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Diass on Wednesday night/Thursday morning. The Royal Air Maroc flight is expected on Thursday at 12:55 a.m., according to the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF).
To mark the achievement of the U17s, the federation invites sports stakeholders, supporters, authorities and the nation's driving forces to mobilize to give a "warm, memorable and fitting" welcome to the performance of the Young Lions, champions of Africa.
"Come in large numbers to celebrate and pay tribute to our young heroes, who have once again demonstrated the excellence of Senegalese football on the continental stage and given the nation a new reason for pride," concluded the FSF Secretary General.
