CAN U17 Maroc 2026 : les Lionceaux défient le Mali pour une place en demi-finale

Already qualified for the U17 World Cup, Senegal and Mali face off this Sunday for a place in the final four of the U17 AFCON.

The Young Lions, who have been gaining momentum since their defeat against South Africa (2-1), have followed up with two victories against Ghana (1-0) and Algeria (2-1), finishing first in their group.

However, facing their Malian neighbors, two-time winners of the trophy (2015 and 2017), the task ahead looks difficult. Given the West African rivalry, Mali will be determined to win and challenge Senegal's dominance in the region.

This quarter-final is therefore expected to be fiercely contested between two teams considered favorites in the competition.
