Ce joueur anglais qui aurait pu filer au Bayern à la place de Nicolas Jackson
In early September 2025, Senegalese international Nicolas Jackson joined Bayern Munich on a one-year loan. The former Casa Sports player will therefore play in Bavaria until June 2026.
Needless to say, negotiations between Chelsea and the Bavarian club were intense and uncertain. Bayern Munich, who were clearly unsure of reaching a loan agreement with the Londoners, had a plan B.
They were interested in Sterling
Indeed, according to the British tabloid "The Telegraph," Bayern have reportedly been inquiring about Raheem Sterling's situation in case talks with Jackson failed. Sterling could therefore have moved to Bayern in place of the Senegalese player.
It wouldn't necessarily have been a good move for the Bavarians because the England international hasn't really felt confident in recent years.
Raheem Sterling, who joined Arsenal on loan from Chelsea last season, scored just one goal in 28 competitive appearances. He returned to Stamford Bridge this summer but never got a chance to play.
