"Cela ne se reproduira plus" Mécontent du remplacement de son fils, le père de Jobe et Jude Bellingham descend s'embrouiller avec l'entraîneur et le directeur sportif de Dortmund

In his first Bundesliga appearance, Jobe Bellingham was substituted at halftime in Dortmund's 3-3 draw with St. Pauli. A decision by coach Niko Kovac that didn't sit well with the player's parents. Mark, his father and advisor, went into the stadium tunnel to confront the BVB coach and sporting director.

Jobe Bellingham's Bundesliga debut was eventful. Starting under coach Niko Kovac against St. Pauli, the 19-year-old Englishman, who had performed poorly, was substituted at halftime with BVB leading 2-0. A decision that his parents, Mark and Denise, who came to the stadium and wanted to make this known, were not to be tolerated.

According to Sky Sports Germany, after the 3-3 draw and two goals conceded in the final four minutes by Dortmund, Mark and Denise Bellingham went to wait in the tunnel to confront the staff. Mark, Jobe's father and advisor, reportedly had a heated discussion with Sebastian Kehl, BVB's sporting director.

BVB forced to rein in Bellingham family

Bild even reports that Mark Bellingham requested a meeting with coach Niko Kovac and "did not hide his opinion." Recruited from Sunderland at the beginning of the summer for just over €30 million, Jobe Bellingham had a relatively successful transition, regularly playing as a starter during the Club World Cup. But the first Bundesliga match revealed a different story.

The day after this incident, Sebastian Kehl issued a statement reminding everyone that certain areas were off-limits to players' entourages, particularly the locker room. "We are all disappointed with yesterday's result," the sporting director acknowledged. "But this area remains reserved for players, coaches, and management, not for families and advisors. This will not happen again. We have made this clear to everyone involved." The Bellingham family is already close to being blacklisted.
