Classement Transfermark: Voici les 10 pays les plus valorisés du football africain
African football is confirming its growing strength on the international market. According to data from the specialist website Transfermarkt, Senegal tops the list of the most valuable African national teams, with an overall estimated value of €459 million.

The Senegalese confirm their status as the benchmark on the continent. Led by a golden generation playing in the biggest European leagues, the Lions maintain a narrow lead in this very tight ranking.
But the gap is minimal. Morocco follows very closely with €453 million, a difference of only a few million. This performance reflects the consistency and depth of the Moroccan squad, now firmly established at the highest international level.
In third position, Ivory Coast boasts an estimated value of €448 million. The Elephants thus confirm the return of a talented generation, capable of competing with the best African nations.
The ranking continues with Nigeria (€287M) and Algeria (€221M), which complete the top 5. Two historic national teams that continue to rely on players playing in major leagues.
Ghana (€188M) and Cameroon (€160M) also remain solid nations, despite a larger gap with the top three.
Further down, Mali (€155M), Egypt (€136M) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (€134M) complete this top 10 dominated by historically strong nations and current generations heavily exported.
Beyond the rankings, this hierarchy confirms a fundamental trend: Africa is establishing itself as a major breeding ground for world football. The gaps in value between the leading nations are narrowing, foreshadowing increasingly intense competition in upcoming major international tournaments.
