Coupe d’Afrique des nations : De 1965 à 2025, voici le Lion le plus utilisé
From five short minutes to over two thousand. The story of Senegal at the Africa Cup of Nations is also told through the playing time of its Lions.
Since its first participation in 1965, Senegal has taken part in 18 editions of the Africa Cup of Nations. During this period, 236 players have been called up at least once to represent the national team. From pioneers to new faces, the list continues to grow, with recent additions including Ibrahim Mbaye, Chérif Ndiaye, and Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly.
In official matches, 187 players were actually used by the Senegalese national team coaches, for a total of 73 games played. And at the top of this playing time ranking is one name: Sadio Mané.
Sadio Mané currently holds the record for the most minutes played by a Senegalese player in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with 2,132 minutes across six tournaments. He is ahead of Henri Camara, second in the rankings with 1,784 minutes in five AFCONs.
At the other end of the spectrum, some Lions only made symbolic appearances. Mamadou Guèye and Youssou Mbengue (1990 AFCON) each played just six minutes. Alboury Lah, at the 1992 AFCON, and Cheikh Tidiane Sabaly, against Botswana, bring up the rear with five minutes of playing time, the lowest total recorded.
These figures reflect both the longevity of the established players and the brevity of the time some internationals spent in the history of the Senegalese AFCON.

Qu'ils continuent à cheminer ensemble ou qu'ils soient séparés, ils seront sanctionnés en 2027 et 2029 pour incompétence et incapacité à gérer un état.
Ils doivent retourner apprendre. La manipulation, les mensonges, l'accusation et la victimisation peuvent marcher dans l'opposition mais quand on gère un état, on agit. On ne pleurniche pas. Ils n'ont pas le niveau. Ils faisaient des promesses sans savoir comment ça fonctionne.
La coalition Diomaye Président et le Pasteef doivent être tous les deux sanctionnés.
un préambule. Actuellement il faut jouer 7 matchs pour arriver en final et avant il y avait moins d’équipes donc on jouait moins de 7 matchs pour attendre la final. En comptabilisant uniquement les matchs de groupes (en se basant sur 3 matchs de groupe), le Sénégal aura alors cumulé 18 éditions x 3 matchs, ce qui fait en tout 54 matchs, il reste alors 19 matchs pour compléter a 73. Ces 19 matchs, ça peut être les matchs le total des matchs joues après les matchs de groupe jusqu’en finale. En définitive, le chiffre 73 est bien possible.
