Leading La Liga and already qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals, FC Barcelona secured their place in the Copa del Rey semifinals with a 2-1 victory over Albacete on Tuesday.

Lamine Yamal led the way, opening the scoring with a superb curling shot in the 39th minute. In the second half, Ronald Araújo celebrated his return to competition in the best possible way, scoring the second goal with a header from a perfectly delivered Rashford corner (56th minute).

Despite Javi Moreno reducing the score at the end of the match (87th minute), FC Barcelona managed to maintain their advantage to secure their qualification for the semi-finals.
