Coupe du monde 2026 : le numéro de Lamine Yamal dévoilé
Called up by Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente despite a recent injury, Lamine Yamal is preparing to experience his first World Cup in the colors of Spain. The young FC Barcelona prodigy may, however, have to wait until the third group stage match before making his debut in the competition.
While awaiting the start of the tournament, the Spanish Federation unveiled on Monday the list of numbers assigned to the 26 players selected for the 2026 World Cup.
Accustomed to wearing the number 10 for FC Barcelona, Lamine Yamal will ultimately wear number 19 for Spain. The prestigious number 10 has been given to his Barcelona teammate, Dani Olmo, for this 23rd edition of the World Cup.
At just 18 years old, Lamine Yamal is thus preparing to take a new step in his young career by participating in the biggest competition in world football.
