Coupe du monde U17 : le Burkina Faso en quarts de finale
Burkina Faso has qualified for the quarter-finals of the U17 World Cup. In an all-African duel, the Junior Stallions beat Uganda (1-1, 5-3 on penalties).
However, it was the Ugandans who took the lead by opening the scoring in the 56th minute thanks to Arafat Nkoola.
In the final quarter of an hour, Burkina Faso managed to equalize through Alassana Bagayogo (77th minute). After 90 minutes, the two teams finished with a 1-1 draw.
During the penalty shootout, Burkina Faso proved more efficient, converting five penalties to three for their opponent.
