Coupe du monde U17 : le Burkina Faso valide son ticket pour les seizièmes de finale
Burkina Faso has qualified for the round of 32 of the U17 World Cup. The young Burkinabe team defeated Tajikistan 2-0. Despite dominating possession, Burkina Faso had to wait until the final ten minutes to capitalize on their superiority.
In the 79th minute, Burkina Faso, who had missed a penalty in the first half through Ashraf Tapsoba (45th minute), were awarded another penalty. Chérif Barro, tasked with taking it, made no mistake and opened the scoring. In stoppage time, Eric Stéphane Ouattara scored the second goal (90+2).
Thanks to this success, Burkina Faso qualifies for the round of 32.
