Dernier face à face : Modou Lô couronne Sa Thiès
Sa Thiès, the victor, and Modou Lô, the dethroned, met again for the "final act" of the royal battle fought on April 5th: the final showdown. In its report, the sports daily Record states that the former King of the Arena himself orchestrated the coronation of his successor.
The event, meticulously orchestrated by promoter Baye Ndiaye, took on a gala atmosphere thanks to its solemn staging. The ceremony opened with a vibrant performance by Titi, dedicated to "XLO," before Rema Diop took over to accompany Sa Thiès' entrance, seated in a royal armchair specially arranged for the occasion.
Swept up in this lyrical atmosphere, Modou Lô distinguished himself with a powerful gesture by personally installing Sa Thiès on his throne, placing the necklace and crown upon his head. Far from any bitterness, he made a lasting impression with his generosity by offering Balla Gaye 2's younger brother fabric for himself and his family, along with an envelope to cover the cost of making the garments.
