Éliminatoires Coupe du monde féminine U20 : le Sénégal écrase l’Algérie et se qualifie pour le 2e tour
Senegal's U20 women's national team has brilliantly qualified for the second round of the World Cup qualifiers. Winners in the first leg (2-0), the Lioncelles confirmed their success by comfortably defeating Algeria in Blida in the return leg (4-0).
Dominating in all areas of the game, Senegal quickly opened the scoring in the second minute thanks to Sokhna Pène's penalty. In the 18th minute, the Lionesses made it two points with an own goal from Rekimi.
In the second half, Sérigne Lena Gomis's players continued at the same pace. In the final twelve minutes, Aïssatou Sagna (79th) and Khadija Badio (81st) sealed the fate of the match by scoring the third and fourth goals.
With this big victory, Senegal easily validates its ticket to the second round of qualifying.
