Équipe de France : Adrien Rabiot et Maghnes Akliouche sélectionnés, Benjamin Pavard et Hugo Ekitike zappé
France national team coach Didier Deschamps released the list of 23 French players called up to play the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Ukraine and Iceland (September 5 and 9) on Wednesday.
The coach has omitted Liverpool's new striker Hugo Ekitike and Inter Milan defender Benjamin Pavard. Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche has been called up for the first time. Andien Rabiot is also on the list despite his problems with Olympique de Marseille.
