Fédé de lutte : la commission électorale enfin constituée
Despite the failure to meet the October 26 deadline for the elective General Assembly, wrestling stakeholders welcome the appointment of members of the Electoral Commission and the Appeals Commission by the Ministry of Sports, after nearly a month of silence.
The decree, signed by Khady Diène Gaye on October 17 and made public on October 24, appoints seven figures from various sectors to sit on the Electoral Commission. It will be chaired by Colonel Bassirou Ndiaye, assisted by Magistrate Ndeye Seynabou Wade as vice-president. Recognized figures in the arena, such as Atoumane Gaye and Oumar Diagne, are also on the list.
The main mission of this Commission is to organize the FSL's elective general assembly and ensure strict implementation of the statutes. Its responsibilities include establishing the electoral body, reviewing candidacies, monitoring the vote, announcing the results, and transmitting the minutes to the ministry, reports the sports daily Record in its edition of this Saturday, October 25.
