FINALES ZONE 2/B DE TAMBACOUNDA : Un explosif Rakadiou-Quinzanbougou en cadets et seniors, le parrain gâte la jeunesse sportive

The athletes of Zone 2/B of Odcav Tambacounda will be celebrating on Saturday, October 4, on the occasion of the Navetanes cadet and senior finals between ASC Rakadiou and ASC Quinzambougou. Beyond this long-awaited football celebration, it is the gesture of the sponsor that is to be commended.

Indeed, the deputy of Pastef of Tambacounda, Mady Danfakha known as "Papy", did not skimp on the means for the success of these two finals which will be played at the regional stadium El Hadj Boubacar Diop of Tambacounda.

Thus, to reward the athletes of this area, the sponsor did not skimp on the means distributed between the trophies for the finalist teams who suffer from a certain oversight on the part of the municipal authorities who are slow to give the subsidies to the ASC, while the Navetanes are making their ends meet. Mady Danfakha graciously offered jerseys and balls for the 16 teams of the area. He also put on the table two trophies for the winners, a cup for the fair-play team, three trophies for the best player, scorer and goalkeeper in cadets and seniors, 40 gold medals and as many silver medals for seniors and cadets.

He also donated jerseys to the four clubs in the city of Tambacounda, sets of jerseys to Allez Tamba supporters, a package of two million CFA francs for the finalists, complete equipment for the referees, jackets and leisure items for the press. Jerseys, jackets, medals and Lacoste were also presented to the organizing committee.

Presenting the prizes to the area's organizing committee, the MP stated that nothing will be too much to make this Tambacounda youth football festival a success. Mady Danfakha called on the finalist ASCs to demonstrate fair play in this regard. He asked the local population to gather at the regional stadium to unite with the youth.

A moving aspect of this event will be the vibrant tribute to Alain Kabou, an iconic figure in local football, who died suddenly on July 3rd following a seizure. Alain was known for his commitment and love of sport, notably as general manager of the Don Bosco club and a candidate for the presidency of the Tambacounda Regional Football League.
