The election for the president of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF), held on August 2, 2025, at the CICAD in Diamniadio, is now officially closed. The Electoral Commission has submitted the minutes of the vote to the competent authorities, an act that definitively validates the results and concludes the electoral process.

According to Les Echos, which reported the news, this crucial step confirms the inauguration of Abdoulaye Fall and his team, elected in a vote monitored by observers from FIFA, CAF, and the Ministry of Sports. Of the 453 registered representatives, 391 took part in the vote, which also elected the 16 members of the Executive Committee.

In the first round, Abdoulaye Fall took a decisive lead with 301 votes, well ahead of Mady Touré (116 votes) and Augustin Senghor (92 votes). Oumar Ndiaye and Aliou Goloko remained far behind, with one vote and zero votes respectively. In accordance with the statutes, a second round was organized between the two leading candidates. The verdict was clear: out of 368 votes cast, Abdoulaye Fall obtained 322 votes against only 30 for his challenger, sealing a landslide victory.

The submission of the minutes, the final institutional step, guarantees that the results comply with the FSF statutes and the Electoral Code. It paves the way for the installation of vice-presidents and representatives of all components of Senegalese football (professional clubs, amateur football, women's football, referees, sports doctors, etc.).
