"Il est très, très fort" : Modou Lo désigne son successeur dans l'arène
Modou Lo, 39, is living out his final years in Senegalese wrestling. In an interview with RFI, he stated that he should retire around the age of 45. But the King of the Arenas isn't worried about the next generation.
According to Modou Lo, his protégé from Parcelles-Assainies, Franc, will be his successor. "Of course (he is my successor), he has already accomplished something unique in the arena: 15 fights for 15 victories. It's a huge feat. He's young, but he still has a lot of experience. He's someone who has really been around the block in wrestling. He didn't hesitate to take his backpack and go to tournaments all over the country to assert himself, train, and acquire skills," he believes.
The Rock Énergie leader believes that the recent defeat of Eumeu Sène could go even higher. "He's a very promising prospect. He's very, very strong. We don't need to introduce him. He's really breaking into the arena. We have great hope that he'll go far," added Modou Lo.
The latter assures that he will do everything possible to help Franc achieve his goals in wrestling. Why not win the title of King of the Arenas, upon Modou Lo's retirement?
