Indemnité de licenciement : ce que doit toucher Pape Thiaw
Pape Thiaw is no longer the coach of Senegal. The Executive Committee of the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has terminated his contract, instructing the federation's president, Abdoulaye Fall, to notify him of the decision. The 45-year-old coach is paying the price for Senegal's disappointing performance at the World Cup, where they were eliminated in the round of 32. He can, however, take some consolation in receiving a severance payment of 240 million CFA francs.
According to revelations made by Bacary Cissé, president of the Senegalese Football Federation's (FSF) Communications Committee, in an interview published Monday in L'Observateur, this amount represents eight months of Pape Thiaw's salary (30 million CFA francs net per month) at the time of his dismissal. This level of compensation was among the clauses in the contract of the now former Lions coach, which was signed under duress three hours before the Senegal-Norway match (2-3), according to the federation official.
