Khady Diène Gaye a reçu les acteurs du basket sénégalais

Sports Minister Khady Diène Gaye announced that she had received in audience yesterday the coach of the Basketball Lions, Desagana Diop, and the president of the Senegalese Basketball Federation (FSBB), Mr. Babacar Ndiaye.

“This Wednesday, I received in audience Ngagne Desagana Diop, coach of the national men's basketball team, accompanied by the president of the Senegalese Basketball Federation. Upon their return from the Afrobasket in Angola, they came to present me with the bronze medal won by our Lions,” she wrote on her Facebook page.

The minister noted that the Lions' third-place finish is a source of pride for Senegal. "Beyond the pride of this podium finish, we must keep in mind the goal of moving higher," she continued.

She also stressed the need for an uncompromising evaluation report to enable the group to correct shortcomings and approach the next deadlines with greater strength and serenity.
