L1 : Ajel frustre le Casa, premier succès pour Génération Foot
In an early match of the 4th round, Ajel snatched a last-gasp draw against Casa Sport in a duel between two previously undefeated teams. The Ziguinchor side had taken the lead thanks to Pape Semou Sané (1-0, 17th minute), but Mouhamed Diop snatched an equalizer in the dying seconds (1-1, 90+7).
Génération Foot secured their first victory of the 2025-2026 season with a 2-0 win against Guédiawaye FC this Saturday at the Lat Dior Stadium. Matar Sylla opened the scoring early with a free kick that deflected off the wall (1-0, 6th minute). Shortly before halftime, Mouhamed Dieng capitalized on an opportunity to double the lead with a swivel shot (2-0, 39th minute). Reduced to ten men just before the break following Diallo's dismissal, the Academicians nevertheless managed their numerical disadvantage perfectly to maintain their advantage and clinch this first win.
The 4th day will continue on Sunday with, in particular, the clash between Wallidan and Jaraaf and the always complicated trip of Gorée to the pitch of Linguère.
