La CAF traduite devant le TAS : on connaît les avocats du Sénégal
Senegal has decided to appeal the CAF Appeals Board's decision, which awarded the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations to Morocco, before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). To plead its case, the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) has assembled a team of lawyers. L'Observateur reports that this team is "led by Seydou Diagne, accompanied by the president of the bar association, Aly Fall, and Moussa Sarr – the latter having extensive experience with CAS procedures since the US Ouakam case."
"To solidify the case internationally," the newspaper continues, "the FSF is relying on three foreign experts, including a Frenchman and, above all, the Swiss Serge Vittoz. [...] It was he who won the case in 2017 in the South Africa-Senegal match, which FIFA ordered to be replayed due to referee corruption."
