Lamine Camara : « Tout se passe sur le terrain »
With the Africa Cup of Nations final fast approaching, Senegal's midfielder Lamine Camara spoke to reporters in the mixed zone on Saturday. The Senegalese player knows that the match against Morocco will be anything but easy.
"I have already played in finals for the national team and for my club," he recalled at the outset, before warning: "It will not be an easy match, there will be a good Moroccan team on the other side."
Confident in the Lions' collective strength, Lamine Camara nevertheless insists on the importance of mindset: "We have everything we need, the players and the technical staff. The essential thing is to concentrate and take them seriously."
Lamine is also aware of the particular context of this final, played in an environment that promises to be hostile: "The field is certainly hostile, but we have already played difficult matches against great teams."
For the Senegalese midfielder, the key to the match will be control and concentration from start to finish: "Everything happens on the field and we will have to concentrate from start to finish."
Determined, Lamine Camara concluded with a clear objective: "We will do everything to win this match and return home with the trophy."
