Le milieu ghanéen de Villarreal Thomas Partey visé par deux nouvelles accusations pour viol
Already accused of rape and sexual assault for incidents that occurred between 2021 and 2022, Thomas Partey has faced two new rape accusations since Thursday, brought by a different woman. The Villarreal player is due to appear in court in November to address these allegations.
Thomas Partey was charged with two additional rape charges on Thursday. According to the Crown Prosecution Service, these additional charges, uncovered by a new Metropolitan Police investigation, are separate from previous ones. They relate to offenses allegedly committed in 2020, which were first reported in August 2025. The Ghanaian man is due to stand trial on these allegations in November.
Partey (32), the former Arsenal midfielder, was already facing two rape charges involving one woman, three rape charges involving a second woman, and one sexual assault charge involving a third, according to an investigation that began in February 2022, when the first report was filed. The player denied the allegations, which reportedly occurred in 2021 and 2022, and was not prevented from joining Villarreal in the summer of 2025 after the Metropolitan Police issued a warrant last July. The two new rape charges revealed this Thursday reportedly involve a fourth woman, different from the first three.
