The 15th and final day of the first half of the Ligue 1 championship takes place this weekend, with several decisive matches both at the top and bottom of the standings.

League leaders US Gorée (1st, 24 pts) travel to the Petite Côte to face newly promoted Stade de Mbour (11th, 15 pts). Level on points with AJEL, the islanders will be aiming for a victory to finish the first half of the season at the top of the table.

After a defeat to Linguère (2-0) in the previous matchday and then elimination from the Senegalese Cup by Génération Foot (2-0), AJEL of Rufisque (2nd, 24 pts) has faltered after a promising start to the season. The Rufisque side, who face Génération Foot at home in the league, cannot afford any slip-ups if they hope to remain in the top three.

Still near the top of the table, Casa Sports (3rd, 23 pts) travels to Dakar Sacré-Cœur (8th, 18 pts). A promising match between two teams set to meet again soon in the Round of 16 of the Senegalese Cup.

Reigning Senegalese champions Jaraaf (6th, 19 pts) host AS Cambérène (15th, 11 pts). Seeking their first win since Matchday 9, the Medina club must secure a victory against the relegation-threatened side to stay in touch with the league leaders.

At the Alassane Djigo stadium, AS Pikine (5th, 20 pts) hosts ASC HLM of Dakar (14th, 13 pts). Having lost their previous match against AS Cambérène, the Pikine side will be eager to redeem themselves at home against the league's least prolific attack (6 goals scored).

Meanwhile, Teungueth FC (4th, 23 pts) hosts bottom-of-the-table Guédiawaye FC (16th, 8 pts) at the Ngalandou Diouf Stadium. The Rufisque-based team, who are on a two-game winning streak across all competitions, will be aiming for a third consecutive victory to climb closer to the top of the table.

In Diourbel, Sonacos (12th, 15 pts), with the worst defense in the league, will try to end a seven-match winless streak when they host US Ouakam (10th, 16 pts). At the Lat Dior stadium, Wallydaan FC will look to finish the first half of the season on a positive note against Linguère of Saint-Louis, in a match with important implications for the mid-table finish.
