With two matchdays remaining in the season, the title race in Senegal's Ligue 1 has taken another turn. AJEL of Rufisque, defeated by US Gorée, relinquished first place to Teungueth FC, the new leaders after their victory against Stade de Mbour. Behind them, Génération Foot continues its impressive run of form, while the relegation battle remains more unpredictable than ever.

The end of the Ligue 1 season promises to be thrilling. After leading the pack for many matchdays, AJEL Rufisque has lost its top spot. The Rufisque side was defeated by third-placed US Gorée (2-1).

Teungueth FC (50 pts), who were one point behind at kickoff, took advantage to seize first place. Malick Daf's men, victorious against Stade de Mbour (2-0), now have a two-point lead over AJEL (2nd, 48 pts) with two matchdays remaining.

For their part, Génération Foot secured their fourth consecutive victory by defeating ASC HLM (1-0). This win allows the Grenats to climb to fourth place with 45 points.

At the Aline Sitoé Diatta Stadium, Casa Sports (6th, 39 pts) secured their second consecutive victory, defeating AS Pikine 1-0. Meanwhile, Wallydaan of Thiès, playing away at Guédiawaye FC, triumphed 3-2, moving up to 5th place with 42 points.

In the fight for survival, Linguère (14th, 24 pts) lost two precious points at home by conceding a draw against US Ouakam (1-1).
