Ligue 1 (2e journée) : La Linguère subit son premier revers de la saison
After an encouraging 2-2 draw in Mbour, Linguère of Saint-Louis were expected to play their first home game this Sunday against Teungueth FC. However, Samba Linguère fell to a strong Teungueth side.
Indeed, the visitors quickly dampened the spirits of the Saint-Louis team, opening the scoring in the 2nd minute through Mechini Gomis. Stunned by this early goal, Linguère then struggled to establish their game.
Early in the second half, Rufisque broke through with their first dangerous attack thanks to Alfred Gomis (63rd minute). Despite a penalty from Boubacar Fall (68th minute), Linguère couldn't avoid their first defeat of the season (1-2).
With this defeat in Kébémer, Linguère has had a timid start to the season.
