Ligue 1 / 12e journée : La Linguère accrochée par l’ASC HLM

Ten days after their first home win of the season, Linguère de Saint-Louis (14th, 11 pts) hosted ASC HLM de Dakar (13th, 12 pts) this Sunday. The match between two struggling sides ended in a goalless draw (0-0).

In front of their home crowd, Abdoulaye Sy's men tried everything to make the difference. Very active in attack, the young Pape Amadou Diop missed three good chances late in the game (78th, 83rd, and 88th minutes). Earlier, Linguère's Gambian defender, Mamadou Jallow, came close to opening the scoring, but his powerful left-footed shot crashed against the post (56th minute).

In the end, the two teams parted with a draw (0-0) which did not help either side, who were still fighting to move away from the relegation zone.
