AJEL Rufisque maintains its lead in Ligue 1 after Matchday 24, despite its draw against Wallydaan. Behind them, Teungueth FC capitalizes on its victory to seize second place, while Linguère sinks deeper into the relegation zone after a third consecutive defeat.

The 24th round of Ligue 1 matches, which began on Saturday, concluded on Sunday. Despite their 0-0 draw against Wallydaan, AJEL Rufisque maintains their lead in the league with 42 points. However, they are now only two points ahead of their neighbors, Teungueth FC, who defeated ASC HLM 1-0.

Thanks to this success, Teungueth FC takes 2nd place from US Gorée (3rd, 41 pts), held to a draw in Ziguinchor by Casa Sports (0-0).

In the other top-of-the-table clash, AS Pikine defeated Génération Foot (1-0). With this second consecutive victory, the suburban club climbs to 8th place (33 points).

At the Ngor municipal stadium, Jaraaf returned to winning ways by defeating Linguère (1-0). This victory allows the reigning Senegalese champions to climb to 9th place with 32 points.

On the other hand, Linguère concedes a third consecutive defeat and falls to second-to-last place with 20 points.
