With one matchday remaining in the Ligue 2 championship, the promotion race is wide open again. Essamaye, Diambars, Douane, and DUC are separated by just two points before a final matchday that promises to be decisive.

With one matchday remaining in the season, the race for promotion to Ligue 1 remains wide open. League leaders Essamaye, with 45 points, had the opportunity to secure their place in the top flight when they hosted AS Douanes (3rd, 44 points). However, the Ziguinchor club were held to a 0-0 draw by the customs officers.

For its part, Diambars (2nd, 44 pts), which could have taken first place, was also held to a draw by Ndiambour (1-1).

On the other hand, DUC dominated Port (1-0) and retains a slim hope in the race for promotion (4th, 43 pts).
